I’m Mel Reynolds, founder of Elements Interior Design Studio. With a background spanning interior design, colour expertise, property styling and custom joinery, I bring together both creative vision and practical understanding. This means recommendations are not only beautiful, but workable, realistic and tailored to how you actually live in your home.

My experience is built on formal training, industry recognition and years of hands-on practice working with homeowners, builders and trades and renovation.
I am industry qualified and recognised, with formal design and colour certifications that support the guidance I provide. These qualifications underpin every recommendation and ensure decisions are based on professional standards, not trends or guesswork.
My background includes formal interior design training, advanced colour expertise, sustainability-led design education and recognised industry memberships. This combination allows me to approach each project with both creative insight and technical understanding, particularly when it comes to colour flow, materials, joinery and long-term functionality.
Most importantly, experience has taught me that good design should feel calm, considered and effortless for the client. That belief sits at the heart of everything we do at Elements.
